Our sweet boy is ONE!

Happy happy birthday, sweet little Elliot!!!! Wow, a whole year! So much has happened and he has been so many places, seen so many things, and met so many people that he will only remember through our stories and pictures, but it has been a joy for us to have him with us! He is an amazingly great kid with a giggle that is contagious and a curiosity that is always getting him in trouble. He has been taking steps since Christmas but has not really been serious about walking until his birthday and on that day he became super brave and is out on his own! He is such a great snuggler still which I love and we love seeing his little personality develop more and more every day. Im going to break up pictures into two posts. This first one is the actual day opening presents and his little party and cake. So here we go!
His little pile of loot
He crawled right over and grabbed this bunny and sat there adoring it for quite a long time. My momma made it for him and Keenan has a matching one. Keenan was so excited that Elliot has one now too and wanted his but sadly we had to tell him it's at home and he can have it as soon as we get back. Now every time he sees Elliot's he talks about how much he loves that bunny.
Keenan got impatient with Elliot taking so long opening things so he went to help him out. :)

The snacks for the party.
Elliot's personal cake
Little cupcakes for everyone

Elliot and his friend, Lola. In the nursery they blow each other kisses and hang out all day.
Thinking it over
One dainty little bite
Lola trying to get all the crumbs off the floor
Finally diving in
One happy boy!

And Lola got her share as well!
With Aidan and Amelie

Keenan and Aidan came up with the idea of having sack "races" up and down the hall in our grocery sacks. They had so much fun bouncing back and forth, back and forth, back and forth

And Elliot thought it was hilarious!!!
