Deep thoughts from Keenan

This morning Keenan came to me and very seriously said, "When I was older, my sister was not tall enough. My father was tall enough, though. But my mother was not tall." Uhhh huh?! Sometimes I think he talks just to say words :)

We're in trouble!!

Elliot is a crawler! He has been army crawling for a couple weeks now but today he has taken his first crawling "steps" and has gone from laying down to sitting up on his own. Big day!! It is so sweet to see the proud look on his face when he finally sits up and sees that I was watching him. I love that little bottom toothed grin! :) The biggest problem with him learning to crawl though is the fact that his favorite thing to go to is cords. He will grab them so fast and chew on them if we turn around for one second. It doesn't matter if they are hidden behind the bookshelf or not, he is after them. He is one determined little guy! We are trying to figure out a way for him to understand no as well. The few times that we have caught him we have gone over, told him firmly "no", pried the cord from his little fist and smacked his hand, he looked up and laughed. What are we in for?
